Groupware product for high dollar donor management premiered at NSFRE Fundraising Days in Washington D.C.

Every year The Data Center's booth at the NSFRE annual Fundraising Days in Washington D.C. showcases upgrades and enhancements of the MASTERLINK system. This year The Data Center presented a new groupware product for high dollar donor management. This new product was greatly accepted and greeted with comments such as:

Revolutionary design in information management ...

The system is designed to work the way high dollar development fundraisers work -- it is document based, not data based. Think of this system as a collection of information in file folders containing all the correspondence, incoming and outgoing memos, notes research data, financial information and comments from your staff -- even pictures and video clips! And none of this information is forced to code or fit into data fields.

You can use the template as is, or easily modify it to contain more or less information, based on your needs.

This information is also easy to retrieve. The system contains full text searching engines with stemming (close matches). You can search by form or by text for any document. You can create document links that take you from one related document to another.

How it works. . .

This revolutionary fundraising system is designed to work as a groupware product on your pc. It is ccMail enabled and will allow several people to work and share information about donors. This system will even work remotely by providing data replication and synchronization.

TDC announces the addition of Web Services to our MASTERLINK System.

Through our use of Host Access Transformation Server and IBM Web Sphere, The Data Center now provides a GUI interface consistent with today’s web requirements.

Access is through web browsers allowing easier use without losing the power for production of our mainframes.

Web Services will allow you to link our mainframe databases with yours.
